Born in Springfield Illinois Khrys is the embodiment of determination spirit and perseverance. In 1990 she began writing feature articles for <strong>“Mid-West Muscle Magazine” </strong>a<strong> </strong>bodybuilding publication located in Baraboo Wisconsin. In 1995 while pursuing her writing she turned professional in the sport of natural bodybuilding through the <strong>World Natural Bodybuilding Federation. </strong>Longing to pursue her passion for writing Khrys studied at the <strong>Institute of Children’s Literature </strong>and received a diploma for <strong>Children’s Magazine Writing </strong>in June of 2009. Khrys released her debut book <strong>“Her Blossoming Soul: A Spiritual Introspection: A Collection of Poetry and Prose” </strong>in 2010. Khrys is currently working on several book projects one of which is a book for children. She is a member of the <strong>Illinois State Poetry Society </strong>and the <strong>American Academy of Poets</strong>. She resides in Illinois with her daughter and her Yorkie Poo Champs.</p>
