The Countess and the Corsair

<p><span style=color: rgba(12 22 44 1)>In the late Byzantine Empire a woman's reputation is everything and Elara Iliakos is determined to avoid any further scandal that could lead to her grandfather disowning her. Recently appointed as a countess Elara is trying to keep a low profile after a very public split from the Prince of Constantinople. But when a ruthless pirate crew led by the infamous Captain Theodosius Kardia raids her home and steals a priceless family heirloom Elara has no choice but to embark on a dangerous mission to retrieve it. Joined by her friends Celina and Rhea she sets out to recover the stolen treasure and restore her tarnished name. To succeed however Elara must reluctantly ally with the pirates responsible for her troubles in the first place. As adventure ensues across the Mediterranean Elara finds herself captivated by Captain Kardia and the dark mystery of his past which further complicates her quest. With enemies closing in and time running out Elara and her companions must navigate a web of tough choices-between protecting their reputations honoring their values and deciding whether to pursue love or seek vengeance.</span></p>
