The Country Preacher as We Knew Him

Pastor Robert Burton was a man that not only taught the word of God but he lived it and walked it. He not only spent his life teaching the word of God he found time to spend with his daughters. This book is about the fondest memories each of them have about him. He loved laughed with and cherished his daughters. He and Myrtle's first child was a boy that passed away at the age of two before any of the daughters were born. Although he always felt the pain of losing his only son he never let it show when it came to loving his daughters. All four of his daughters Lucille Daisy Iannes and Mary have children that sit on his knee as he dedicated them to God.
