The Countryside in the City

...is about the expropriation of a group of peasants from the region of Itaiacoca a rural district of Ponta Grossa in Paraná. These farmers swapped their family farms for factory work in the city but continued to preserve their rural customs and traditions... I dedicate this book to all small farmers whether they are in the countryside or in the city whether they are currently farming or doing something else. To all those who have ever felt disadvantaged or oppressed by the 'Sist Monster'. Finally I dedicate it to the 'memory of the excluded'.
