The creation of companies by public researchers in France

At the end of this work the creation of companies by public researchers appears to be one means of valorizing research among many others. But it is a means that has the particularity of giving a voice to researchers. It escapes (or tries to escape) at least in part from the logic of the research organizations to which the researchers belong and moves in the direction of greater autonomy for the actors. It is able to account for the tensions that sometimes arise between the logic of actors and the logic of institutions since the institutions do not always manage to recognize themselves in the initiatives taken by their members.
