The Crystal Conflict

<p>On a seemingly insignificant planet called Rylaxon society hung by a thread in the shadow of a crippling energy shortage. Once-productive mines were failing and in desperation miners were forced to dig deeper forgoing safety and sanity in search of the precious nucleotide crystals that powered the planet for 1953 years. </p> <p>It is during these troubling times that Biron Coomra is born to a race of clone-like people. His father is a well-known and respected biophysicist who made a historic discovery on a distant planet—absolute proof of the existence of intelligent life in the universe: humanity. Biron’s mother is a thirteenth-level witch from this newly discovered world called Earth and she bristles against the Rylaxon social class system. Her son’s future is in no way guaranteed as an ancient prophecy warned the Rylaxon inhabitants of certain destruction if they intermingle with their distant cousins. How can this hybrid boy ever hope for a normal life? </p> <p>Biron must fight for his own destiny against the machinations of a madman bent on world domination and an ancient entity determined to destroy it all. Can a unique boy grow up in a caste society that shuns anyone who dares to be different and overcome the odds to defeat two maniacal forces of evil?</p>
