The Cubby Maker

The story is about a boy who is lonely but one evening during a storm he is looking out of his window and sees a pair of small birds building a nest. The next morning he decides to go outside into the back yard and make a cubby of his own. But soon his next door neighbours come over to investigate his activity. The storm has made the yard untidy so the boy makes use of all the clutter around the garden and it doesn't end there.... the storm is not yet over.
