The Daffodil Who Couldn't Dance

<p><strong>A rhyming story for every kid that's ever felt less-than because they were different-and a reminder that our differences are what make us special!</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Because of the holes in his petals<strong>-</strong>Daniel the daffodil is not able to dance with the rest of his friends but he'll soon learn embracing that difference is a wonderful thing. While trying so hard to fit in he'll end up learning that standing out can be a beautiful gift.</p><p><br></p><p><em>We must dance said one daffodil.</em></p><p><em>For that we were made!</em></p><p><em>With wind under our petals we'll bounce in the shade.</em></p><p><em>We'll get her attention with our special dance show.</em></p><p><em>If we all move the same that we're here she will know!</em></p><p><em>And so the wind came hitting them from behind. As the breeze hit their petals they danced so divine.</em></p><p><em>But one daffodil named Daniel felt so much out of place.</em></p><p><em>As the wind would hit him it went right through his face.</em></p><p><em>For his petals had holes they could not catch the breeze.</em></p><p><em>If he tried catching wind it might sound like a sneeze.</em></p><p><em>So unable to dance this lone bud hid below.</em></p><p><em>He would hide who he was so his friends wouldn't know.</em></p><p><br></p><p><strong>This is a book about celebrating our differences finding self-esteem and loving yourself for who you are! </strong></p>
