The Darby Plan

This is a book by an experienced small business merchant of more than 60 years in which he addresses the problems faced by today's declining American economy and presents solutions available through a renewed and strengthened small business sector. His thesis is that the quantity discount (QD) movement among mass merchandisers has destroyed too many small businesses and that a more favorable environment for small business in general could well bring back the vibrancy of the entire economy. He provides a plan centered around a one price wholesale purchase policy for accomplishing this.
