The Dark Frigate

The Dark Frigate is a historical adventure novel set in the 17th century. The story follows the adventures of Philip Marsham a young Englishman who becomes embroiled in the tumultuous world of piracy. Philip Marsham the protagonist starts off as a young man with aspirations of a respectable life. However his fortunes take a turn when he is pressed into service on a pirate ship the Dreadnought. As he finds himself caught up in the life of a pirate he grapples with the challenges and moral dilemmas that come with this dangerous and lawless existence.
