“The Dawn” is a compilation of poems on different themes such as love friendship betrayal death greed sexual harassment substance abuse and other themes were based on the experiences feelings and emotions of the poet. The book is an attempt to bring back together in a single compass the thoughts about life. As poetry has the power to inspire motivate and break down barriers the poet tries to connect with people on a deep and emotional level through her poems. As no other literature can create a plethora of feelings and emotions as poetry thus the poet tries to bring out share explore and gain an understanding of the complexities of love and life. The poet through her poems tries to convey a message which can provide solace comfort and inspiration for others because in life you will realize that nothing will ever be the same. Life is but a series of challenges and experiences that make someone find the true meaning and purpose in life. I belonged to a Khasi community one of the Northeastern tribes of India. I am a member of the All India Poetess Conference an organization founded by Dr.Lari Azad. I honestly admit that I am one amongst introvert writers who consequently shy away from public exposure but this has not hindered me from achieving my goals. I have written a few novelettes and poetry in the local dialect followed by Footprints an English poem that was released years back. Thanks to Bluerose Publishers for the book entitled.
