On October 13 1972 Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571 crashed into the Andes leaving its passengers including a rugby team stranded in a desolate isolated wilderness. With little food and no way to communicate the survivors were pushed to their limits. What followed was a harrowing saga of survival where moral boundaries were tested and the human will to live prevailed. Their story remains one of the most extraordinary accounts of endurance sacrifice and the darker sides of humanity.
