The democratic transition in Libya

The democratic transition in Libya that started in 2011 is now really threatened. Libya is a country that is severely divided after having had a civil war totally for power in 2014. There are two legislative branches two governments plus a third one that came out of a UN-led agreement and two armies in the east and west each of which judges legitimacy. Not to mention the disappearance of the judiciary. Several factors are contributing to the deterioration of the security and political situation complicating the democratic transition in the country. The international community must provide assistance to this country for the success of its democratic transition this assistance is urgent in terms of the unification of the army and the reorganization of the judiciary the police force and the coast guard.
