Volume 3 Covers The Period 18021804 And Focuses On Wellesley''S Turbulent Relationship With The Court Of Directors To Whom He Had Tendered His Resignation Though He Did Not Leave. It Also Refers To The Ongoing Conflict With The Maratha Empire.
