The development of green economy in the Republic of Kazakhstan

Nowadays the expression green economy has become increasingly used in society. After the last UN conference on sustainable development Rio + 20 President of our state N.A. Nazarbayev predetermined this notion as a high priority as one of the primary factors on the path of the country''s further development. The monograph deals with the main tasks of the transition to a green economy increasing the efficiency of resource use and management; Modernization of existing and construction of new infrastructure; Improving the well-being of the population and the quality of the environment; Increase of national security within the framework of the Concept on the transition of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the green economy. The analysis of the transition to the green economy in the conditions of the development of the Republic of Kazakhstan is made. In addition the questions of the formation of a new mechanism on priority directions of development of the green economy in Kazakhstan are revealed. The monograph is intended for bachelor students undergraduates and doctoral students as well as for specialists interested in the problems of preserving ecology.
