The Devil Can't Have Me No Matter What

<p>I am just an ordinary person who loves the Lord and wants to spread His Word.</p><p>For many years my husband and I were caretakers for my parents who lived with us.    Being caretakers while working full time jobs never left time for us to live.  I was never without my parents living with me.  </p><p>Raised as a Christian who loved God I was almost undone by life’s circumstances sicknesses tragedies depression dealing with mean people not understanding how to cope and I nearly lost my faith.  </p><p>All my life my mom never let me forget who was in charge – God.  And never let me give up on Him.  Even when she was 96 and I knew I would lose her she reminded me to pray believe and trust Him.  Her unwavering love for God and for me were an inspiration.  Although I miss her every day I know she is in Heaven waiting for me.</p><p>After my mom passed away I did not know what to do.  She was everything to me.  But then a thought came to me something my mom would say to me all my life to help me focus on God – “The devil can’t have me no matter what I’ll hit him in the head and I’ll kick him in the butt”.</p>
