The Devil is a Liar

I don't know when it happened I just know it did. At that moment breathing became almost impossible. As the room got smaller all the weight from my shoulders shifted to my chest. I felt my neck and chest getting wetter as the tears flowed continuously and unchecked. The burning in my chest increased. I prayed for the heart attack to come and take me out instead. That way I wouldn't have to explain. That way my family wouldn't have to lie about it later and say that I had been diagnosed with cancer. That way escape from shame and humiliation would be a certainty. But after a while the burning stopped and was replaced by sharp stabbing pains.....Order now to read more
