The Diary of A Young Girl: Anne Frank recounts the Horrors of Holocaust

The Diary of Anne Frank is simply one of the most beautiful memoirs one could ever come across. It takes you on a journey during the World War II era giving a very real picture of the situations and circumstances faced by people through the eyes of a teenager. Anne describes her experiences of running to the Netherlands from Germany and persecutions by the government then. She elaborates on her stay with the van Daans’ her teenage years in a secret annex above Otto Frank’s office. Anne Frank gives a clear account of her relationship with her family members as well as other people in the annex along with little insight into the ill-treatment and drastic mishappenings of the war including the unjust behavior of the Nazis towards Jews.
