The didactics of literary texts in secondary school in Senegal

In a globalized world where exchanges between cultures peoples and societies are very intense it is timely and vital to promote languages and literatures. Indeed they constitute essential pillars for the transmission and promotion of cultures throughout the world. This is what motivates our study and underlies our ambition to contribute to the search for solutions to the crisis facing the teaching of languages in secondary school classes in our country where most state policies tend to favor scientific subjects. It is also a serious mistake to consider that only science and technology allow the development of a country. However we are in the world of communication and exchanges in various forms. In this field it is not possible to realize development ambitions and policies without including the linguistic and cultural dimension.
