The discursive construction of the web portals Cosecha Roja and Infobae

This research work analyzes the media discourses on the issue of street harassment in two web portals that are part of Journalism 2.0: Infobae.com and Cosecha Roja. Street harassment is a social problem of current relevance that constitutes only one of the most common manifestations of a sexist and patriarchal society in which power relations between men and women are unequal and often violent. Since a resounding case of street harassment suffered by young Aixa Rizzo in April 2015 many Argentine media began to give greater coverage to a scourge that is very naturalized in the national DNA.
