Born in Murcia Spain he studied under leading scholars and spiritual masters across al-Andalus and North Africa. His travels took him to Makkah Anatolia and finally Damascus where he taught and wrote extensively. Ibn al-ʿArabī authored over 300 works including </span><em style=color: rgba(18 18 18 0.75)>Fuṣūṣ al-Ḥikam</em><span style=color: rgba(18 18 18 0.75)> and </span><em style=color: rgba(18 18 18 0.75)>al-Futūḥāt al-Makkiyya</em><span style=color: rgba(18 18 18 0.75)> which explored metaphysics divine love and spiritual realities. He mentored Ṣadr al-Dīn al-Qūnawī and influenced generations of thinkers. His legacy continues to shape Islamic thought spirituality and philosophy to this day.</span></p>
