This work aims to study the nature of justice in classical Greek tragic drama. It is an attempt to understand the evolution of justice through a study of the plays Prometheus Bound Oedipus Rex and The Oresteia trilogy. The work examines the manner in which the themes of crime punishment and justice were represented by the playwrights in the tragedies.
