The Doves of Winter

Kerri Broder a former journalist from San Francisco is about to begin her new life as a reporter with the <I>Bent Fork Tribune</I>. While adjusting to life in the Northwestern town she stumbles upon more than one dead body--bodies that mysteriously disappear--sending her journalistic instincts into overdrive.</p><p>Rose Lewis a former resident of Bent Fork is returning home to escape the agitation of Seattle. She's also hoping to find some answers to the terribly disturbing nightmares that plague her dreams. What she discovers is a frightening link between her childhood and the recurring nighttime visions.</p><p>Most of the townsfolk are too browbeaten to talk about the disconcerting events that are common in the town.
