The Dracula Murders: A Kate Flaherty/Ben Pierce Mystery

Kate and Ben introduced in The Better Business Bureau Murders never managed to consummate their love for each other before circumstances split them. Now three years later other circumstances re-unite Kate and Ben in Romania the home of Vlad Dracul the Impaler better known to moviegoers as Dracula. Ben now an advertising executive and the CEO of new client Gorebush Resources agree that Gorebush should position itself as the leader in the field of oil and gas exploration by personalizing Gorebush’s advertising using three brilliant young Gorebush geophysicists: Tommy Parsons Bobby Edwards and Jimmy Sylvester. To enable him to know the young men well enough to build an ad campaign around them arrangements are made for Ben to accompany the three men on a vacation jaunt around Romania where the men have been exploring for oil and gas. Joining the group are Bobby’s sister Dr. Doreen Edwards Jimmy’s fianc¨¦e Lizann Tompkins and theirrepressible Kate.What starts out to be a light-hearted relaxing vacation quickly degenerates into what was later described as “the trip from hell.” Not only is the group being stalked by a professional assassin but it is also being traumatized by a type of murder made famous by Vlad the Impaler. The trip ends in the small college town of Swarthmore Pennsylvania where Kate now lives with a double wedding and the finest-ever performance of the Great and Wondrous Omsk Circus.
