The Dust of Conflict

The Dust of Conflict follows the story of Rupert Ormond a young Englishman who travels to South Africa to seek his fortune amid the turmoil of the Boer War. As the conflict between the British Empire and the Boer republics rages on Rupert finds himself caught up in the chaos and upheaval of war. Amidst the violence and uncertainty Rupert forms unlikely alliances with soldiers settlers and indigenous peoples each with their own motivations and agendas. Along the way he encounters danger hardship and betrayal as well as moments of courage camaraderie and romance.
