It is 1973 in Bangkok Thailand and Bill Thomas is a young expatriate working for WorldMedal Inc. while enjoying occasional romantic trysts with local women anxious to please. But when a co-worker tells him he has received an anonymous warning that the company is in danger of receiving a shipment of ilmenite from Singapore instead of tin ore Bill's life is suddenly upended.Bill and the co-worker have no idea of the identity of the caller-only that he had an accent from Thailand's tin mining region. After Bill informs an American executive of the developments he heads for Singapore where a chain of events begins to unfold and truths become evident.
