The Dynamic Decade

Mongolia a land-locked country surrounded by two huge neighbors Russia and China struggled to achieve democracy and new regional identity during the decade between 1990 and 2000. The book aims to explore interrelations between domestic developments and foreign policy in the 1990s with lessons learned from Soviet period challenges of economic transition national security strategies and dynamics of Mongolia’s regional relations both in Central Asia and Northeast Asia.
