The aim of this book is to discuss the “Critical Examination of the Early Buddhist Monastic Duties Depicted in Vattakkhandhaka.”Nevertheless there are many expansions that have been done with regard to the discipline of the Bhikkhus there is not any research presenting with reference with the duties of the monk according to Vattakkhandhaka. The Intention of this writing book is to discuss the duties that are to be fulfilled by Bhikkhus within the Buddhist community here it is explained how the Buddhism was introduced and how which was embraced by the people within the society of various religions. The Oder of Bhikkhu that began with five ascetics how it developed and duties of Bikkhus. That has clearly tried to mention that a Bhikkhu is not only a person who tries to obtain self-liberation but also welfare of other people in the society.
