Risk stratification of major cardiovascular events after ACS using Doppler echocardiography provides prognostic support for different clinical models and enables non-invasive risk assessment independent of comorbidities. echoscore offers a better definition of the categories of high- and intermediate-risk patients in whom a more aggressive approach improves outcomes. 85 echocardiographic parameters are studied. A 6-month follow-up with checkpoints at one month three months and six months 181 patients with major cardiovascular events (death ischemic/extension recurrence heart failure/cardiogenic shock severe rhythm or conduction disorder stroke mechanical or thromboembolic complications rehospitalization). The echoscore comprises 4 echocardiographic variables: LV-Simpson-biplane ejection fraction LV-surface-Simpson shortening fraction global longitudinal M-strain and pulmonary ultrasound comets.
