The effect of laser acupuncture on asthma

The author deals with the clinical picture of asthma and the possible application of laser acupuncture to alleviate the disease. In addition to explaining the theoretical principles of the physical functions of respiration and comparing Western and Eastern approaches the development of acupuncture and laser acupuncture is presented. The positive effects of laser acupuncture treatment on a group of test subjects diagnosed with asthma are demonstrated and the results presented. The study shows that a targeted course of treatment can have a positive influence on the course of the disease and bring about an improvement in symptoms.
