The effect of solar activity in marine ecosystems

About The Book

The monograph presents the experience of multi-year forecasting (a year or more in advance) of fish catch success and the state of marine ecosystems in some areas of the World Ocean. The methodology is based on the revealed statistically reliable relationships of fish catches and ecosystem elements with solar activity (Wolf number) and climatic fluctuations which are indirectly reflected by changes in the Earth's rotation rate. These factors are considered to be primary and external to marine ecosystems. This methodology can be used for multi-year forecasts of meteorological and hydrological characteristics.
