This study delves into the impact of intellectual property on the governance of China''s tourism industry particularly against the backdrop of the transformative effects induced by the Covid-19 pandemic. It explores intellectual property within the broader framework of intellectual capital social capital and intangible assets aiming to pinpoint effective strategies for addressing challenges hindering the industry''s advancement. Employing a quantitative research approach the study collected data from 250 respondents through a structured questionnaire. Analysis was conducted using SPSS version 25 software with a focus on testing hypotheses and addressing research inquiries. The findings underscore the significant role of intellectual property in governing China''s tourism sector serving as a pivotal moderating tool bolstered by its legal implications. Consequently leveraging intellectual property as a governance mechanism holds promise for remedying prevalent infringements within the industry.
