Research has proven countless times that mindfulness has a positive effect on different levels of the human organism. In particular mindfulness practices have a positive influence on people's general well-being. However research into mindfulness is still in its infancy. This book takes a closer look at a few unexplored topics. More specifically it examines whether the very first meditation session already has a positive effect on well-being. In addition it discusses possible gender differences and the intention with which mindfulness exercises are practised.
