Herein we have the accumulated musings on a lifetime of hunting fishing foraging and plain old poking around the backwoods. Life has afforded many opportunities. From a childhood filled with hunting pheasant and quail to living in the Rockies to getting off the job merry-go-round early I have been fortunate. Nosing round Mayan ruins fishing on the sea and diving in underground caves called cenotes has radically enriched everything I am. This eclectic and perhaps odd collection of stories poems recipes and insights spans my lifetime of looking for rocks mushrooms and signs to read scribbled on the firmament of this great Earth. Heed these memoirs well. They will not change your life but might just bring a smile to your face.
