The Empty Diary

Walter has been attracted to Yvette since the 7th grade but only knew her through his cousin Samuel. So she was a kind of mystery to him. However after the death of her mother and his cousin during a global pandemic both were grieving and could only confide in one another bringing them closer together. By chance Walter discovers an old empty leather book with an eerie unknown origin but Yvette calls it her diary. As a grieving daughter she craves the presence of her deceased mother and this becomes her obsession. However as the diary is further used it starts causing them both to second guess their reality creating an intentional wedge between them. For everything to return to normal both most decide to make a difficult decision and a terrifying sacrifice.
