The Enchanter

It was the year 1970 in the small village of Cline. Ann was studying history; she was particularly intrigued with the year 1670. It was this research into the village that started to reveal the deepest and darkest secrets of that time. She first saw the stranger arrive in the village as she was day dreaming out of the upstairs window. The figure emerged almost magically out the distant woods and it was then that she noticed this dark figure was gliding towards the house. As she looked more closely it was hard at first to notice any detail relating to his overall appearance as he was just a silhouette in front of the slowly fading sunlight...but as he grew nearer somehow she felt that her life was never going to be the same. Not in her wildest dreams did she imagine that this encounter would become her worst nightmare.
