Epistemology of Disasters and Social Change

<P>Disasters change how we understand the world and in doing so they can accelerate social movements that drive long-term change. This book uses social epistemology to chart how disaster experiences change us how current systems harm us by shutting down that change and how we can reform disaster practices to better adjust to our future crises. </P>
