Arab-Muslim architecture is an architectural style that developed from the 7th century in the Arab and Muslim world covering a vast region from Spain to India. It is characterized by elements such as horseshoe arches domes minarets and geometric and floral patterns.The history of Arab-Muslim architecture dates back to the earliest times of Islam when Muslims began to build mosques for their worship. The first mosques were simple with open spaces for prayer and roofs supported by columns.
