The present book entitled ‘The Ethno-medicinal Plants of North East India (vol-2)’ is a reference book focusing on different aspects of ethno-medicinal plants traditionally using by the tribal communities at gross root level/ traditional practicenors especially among the “Garo tribe” in West Garo Hills district of Meghalaya India. The book is divided into 07 major chapters containing information about 100 traditionally used ethno-medicinal plant species belonging to 53 families. The information were arranged based on their scientific names author’s name family common name local name habit locality description plant parts used as well as their mode of application for the treatment of various ailments viz. diabetes blood pressure cancer jaundice headache stomach-ache common cold malaria epilepsy skin diseases cough and fever.
