Authored by science writer Willy Ley and noted aerospace engineer Wernher Von Braun it is based on the scientific and engineering capabilities available in 1956. Illustrated by space artist Chesley Bonestell the book remains today a classic in the space engineering field. This facsimile reprint is an affordable alternative to the elusive hardcover edition.
