The Exploration of Online and Offline Interpersonal Relationships

Social networking sites play a tremendous role in how people of all ages connect. This study looks at the ways in which twelve young adults build and maintain offline relationships and the role that social networking sites such as Facebook and Twitter play in that maintenance. This study offers insight into an area of connection interpersonal relationships both online and offline exploring more deeply what young adults share about themselves on social networking sites and how they maintain their relationships with others.
