The fable of the chained elephant becomes reality

The construction of meanings about domestic violence by child victims addresses the perspective of children who are victims of domestic violence regarding such experiences. Among other concepts the book demonstrates the naturalization of violence by victims and the understanding of violence as a means of education. The work is based on the theories of Vigotski and colleagues on child development allowing for a differentiated understanding of domestic violence against children.
