The family in the development of critical thinking in primary school

The family as the primary and most important nucleus of childhood education is responsible not only for the formation of values but also becomes the essential environment where independence autonomy and critical thinking are forged from an early age. And although this family accompaniment is an important pillar in the education of children at present there has been an evident increase in the absence of parents from the training process this as a result of the lack of time work schedules among other socioeconomic factors that affect family dynamics and consequently school environments. Considering the above it is necessary to motivate and guide families in how to work assertively on the skills to develop such critical thinking specifically decision making and assertive conflict resolution through argumentation and daily social experience.
