The Ferrar Papers

First published in 1938 this book presents a selection from the papers of Nicholas Ferrar (15921637) intended to provide a detailed illustration of ''the life and work of a saint of the Church of England''. The text keeps as much as possible to the spelling and punctuation of the original manuscripts and editorial notes are kept to a minimum. Illustrative figures and an introduction are included together with a bibliography and genealogy. This book will be of value to anyone with an interest in the writings of Ferrar Anglicanism and British history.
