The Fight I Didn't Choose

<p>As women we are taught to be strong. We carry our families our work</p><p>our responsibilities-and we rarely let anyone see us bending</p><p>underweight. We don't always tell others when we're hurting. We</p><p>assume we can handle everything because that's what strength looks</p><p>like.</p><p>But cancer has a way of changing that. It forces you to face your limits.</p><p>It strips away the illusion that you can do it all alone. And in that</p><p>breaking I discovered something surprising: real strength isn't in</p><p>silence-it's in sharing.</p><p>I decided to write this book as part of my own healing. Putting words on</p><p>my journey allows me to release the pain the fear and to hold onto the</p><p>lessons and moments of grace I found along the way. At the same time</p><p>I hope my story becomes a light for others who are walking this same</p><p>difficult road.</p><p>If you are in the middle of treatment waiting for test results or simply</p><p>trying to gather the courage to face another day-you are not alone. I see</p><p>you. And I want you to see through my story that healing is possible-</p><p>not just in the body but in the heart and spirit too.</p><p>This is not just a story about cancer.
