As women we are taught to be strong. We carry our families our work our responsibilities-and we rarely let anyone see us bending underweight. We don't always tell others when we're hurting. We assume we can handle everything because that's what strength looks like.

But cancer has a way of changing that. It forces you to face your limits. It strips away the illusion that you can do it all alone. And in that breaking I discovered something surprising: real strength isn't in silence-it's in sharing.

I decided to write this book as part of my own healing. Putting words on my journey allows me to release the pain the fear and to hold onto the lessons and moments of grace I found along the way. At the same time I hope my story becomes a light for others who are walking this same difficult road.
