The Finish Line

Cara Beaton met Garret McCormack at the Hastings Park racecourse in Vancouver British Columbia. Each had a very different kind of passion for horseracing and lived completely different lifestyles. Garret might have been an easy-going guy but he went after what he wanted. From the first day he met Cara he knew that he wanted her as much as she wanted him. Neither would admit to love at first sight but Garret had little difficulty convincing Cara she should check out his style of racing in Alberta. It was unlike anything she had ever experienced. <p>Garret becomes a chuckwagon driver and together they start a new life and an unbreakable bond as a chuckwagon racing family. If love was enough to get them to the finish line it would have carried them through every time. But as with any challenge life's twists and turns have a way of showing up when you least expect them. Where would it leave this family in the end?
