The Fire People

In The Fire People the story is set in a future world where humanity faces a threat from a race of fiery beings who inhabit the interior of the Earth. These fire-dwelling creatures known as the Fire People emerge from the depths of the planet to wreak havoc on the surface world. The protagonist of the novel Jim Thorpe becomes embroiled in the conflict between humanity and the Fire People as he seeks to uncover the truth behind their existence and find a way to stop their destructive rampage. Along the way Jim encounters a cast of colorful characters including scientists adventurers and members of a secret society dedicated to combating the Fire People's menace. As Jim delves deeper into the mystery of the Fire People he discovers dark secrets hidden beneath the Earth's surface and confronts the ultimate challenge of saving humanity from annihilation.
