The Flames of Rebellion

<p><strong style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>A kingdom where magic is outlawed a tyrant King hidden magical academies an oppressed population.</strong></p><p><br></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>When King Cedric died at the hands of a group of mages his son the then Prince Roderick took the reins of the kingdom and with his first decree banned all magic and magic users from Avondale.</span></p><p><br></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Magic is not picky with who it selects however. Anyone can have any kind of mana awaken within them at any time from Gaia's Grace - the earth mana to the Eternal Flame - fire mana. And when that mana is awakened its presence is telegraphed by a distinctive glow in the individual's eyes. So the Royal Guard and soldiers of Avondale became well known for their one fear inspiring order: 'Open Your Eyes'.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Book 2:</strong></p><p><br></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Kai had always known that he was destined to be a great fire mage. He had been able to control the Eternal Flame within him for so long that he had labelled himself a Journeyman ranked mage. But when he had found the 'Brotherhood of the Flame' a group of fire mages who lived to train fight and compete regularly he soon realised that the single flame that he could conjure did not live up to the might of his peers.</span></p><p><span style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>Kai quickly discovered that he was not equal to the rest of the Brotherhood and each time he fought against them in their weekly competitions he would be soundly put back in his place. That would be of course until he met Elijah Lyra and Alina who would help him on his path to become something more than he could've ever imagined.</span></p><p><br></p><p><strong style=color: rgba(15 17 17 1)>A Young Adult Fantasy set in the fictional kingdom of Avondale.</strong></p>
