The flaws of regional integration in Africa

In Central Africa attention is increasingly focused on regional integration as a strategy for achieving sustainable economic growth as there is a consensus that by pooling capacities and resources and mobilizing energies the region will be able to overcome the challenges it faces.It is clear today that regional integration remains the key strategy that will enable African governments in general and Central African states in particular to accelerate the transformation of their small fragmented economies expand their markets extend the continental economic space and reap the benefits of economies of scale for production and trade thereby maximizing the prosperity of their nations.
